I had the exact same problem.
It seams that it’s not something with the game but something with the system.
Ok, first I’ll need all the details of your system. Run dxdiag. (start\run�dxdiag�).
Save the file and post it if possible. That will help me to see what’s doing this.
To get past this mission do this install the game and the patch (with out moods!) on a different computer. If this doesn’t work also post its diagnostics. The more the better.
I’ll see what I can come up with. But try also this deactivate all the moods.
Anybody ho had or hadn’t this problem please post the diagnostics and specify if you had it or not.
I’ll study them this weekend.
