Gonna buy IWar2... but MAJOR control problems!!

I tried the mouse control file, was to sluggish to my liking.

But then again, I didn't check if there was a way to increase mouse responsivnes.

If there is I might try it again.

Now a game with a very good mouse control function would be
Tachyon: the fringe.

Too bad it's not even close to being as good a game as I-War2: EoC

Are you sure you aren't willing to give the keyboard and joystick configuration a try? FPS configs are great, but I've always found that they just feel wrong in a space-sim.

I tried the keyboard only.... and I'm not willing to go out and buy a joystick. Joysticks never felt right with me... maybe because I'm left handed, I dunno.... the leftie ones didnt feel right either....

Okay, I downloaded the demo, and I have the mouse control thingy selected...

but it's not working...

the mouse works in the menus, just not the game... how do I get it to work? Is it because I use a USB mouse?

Joysticks are only good in simulation type games, and in simulation type games they are ten times better than keyboard or mouse. The rest of the time keyboard and mice are fine for PC gaming, dont even think I use my joystick to play JK2/MoHAA/etc

Personally don't like console gamepads <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>.

Well, these controls seem VERY similar to Descent III controls, and I would be happy if I could just use the mouse like I wanna, with the thrust overrides... I could do some mad manuevers that way....

When I discovered the thrust overrides, I was like, "HEY, COOL! FPS controls!", but there was no mouselook..

So why could the mouse .ini not work with me??
