6.2 results in a super-magnified view :S.
Btw, could you copy/paste all of the Camera related things within the flux.ini file for me please, so i can understand what they mean and what changes will result in roughly.

That's probably because you've gone too far and inverted the camera (so now it's probably something like -5 degrees). Try something more like 100 degrees first, then bump it up a little at a time.

?
I think i need to know what all the words with reguards to the camera in the flux.ini file mean before i can do that sort of stuff. I am perfectly happy to fiddle and test and test and retest , but its bloody annoying to have to go though everything with trial and error, esp if someone else knows already what the all the 'word=value' means.

Oh yeah, sorry.
The only figure you're likely to have any fun with is field_of_view. Every camera has one, and they all do the same thing. The field of view, or FOV, is the angle created between the exteme edges of the camera's vision, and the camera itself. So say for example you have a camera with a 60 degree FOV; that means the camera can see 30 degrees left of center and 30 degrees right of center.
Here's a page that explains FOV calculation:
www.vision1.com/systems/fovmath.shtml
Now, since you probably came back from that last page saying; "Hell no, I ain't reading all that!" Here's a simpler page:
www.surveillance-spy-cameras.com/100cpictures.htm
The focal_length figure doesn't seem to work, and my never have been implemented in the code. Or removed. Who knows.
The other icInternalCamera figures relate to how the view sways when you do manuevers. I haven't really had the interest to play with these yet.
I hope this was what you wanted.

This, also, is an excellent 'quick' tutorial to camera terms. In addition, it shows some examples of different focal lengths.

Well, I think the reason the ships seem small in the game is the speeds at which you travel. Ever noticed that when you are in normal speeds, planets look huge, but when you are travelling at LDS, planets and even stars look small?? Sometimes you dont even know which body is the planet and which is the moon, because without REFERENCE (like one in front of the other) anyone can be the biggest!
Anyway... in Star Wars and Wing Commander games, your ships travel at incredible low speeds for starships... mind you... in X-Wing games, the fastest ships travel at about 150 km/h... 200 km/h if you put all energy from weapons and shields to your thrusters!!!
Well... 200km/h is about 60 m/s. ((200/1000)*60*60)
So... if you want to emulate the speed of a XWing fighter from X-Wing games, fly ONLY at about 40m/s... see how much time you will take to transverse the distance between both ends of ships and space stations in EoC. Really... they suddenly become HUGE!
