MY problem is that I was using on board graphics to play EOC but it wasnt working well for anything else. so I upgraded and bought a video card. everything runs beautifully with it except EOC. IT says "Unable to find a suitable driver to run the game. This means the game will not run." It also says " In some cases a reboot of your machine will solve the problem. otherwise you should try to find the latest drivers for your graphics card."
Ive rebooted and tested many different drivers. unofficial and official. But all display the same message. I really love this game and love Torn stars even more. But I CANT PLAY!!!!!!!!!!! any suggestions?

I know that lots of people have had trouble with Nvidias latest cards. My solution was to go back and get a slightly older driver for my card. That fixed all my troubles. Perhaps that might work for you?

When do you get this error message? When you start the load/install screen? Or when you press "play"? Or is it in the flux.log?

Sorry there has not been more response. I have an ATI card, but it runs the game just fine. And I also run WinXP. I assume your direct X version is up to date?
