Lost my wingmen

I was in the acluin system and a couple of people were wacking a couple of Mega transports. They blew up and scattered their cargo. I pressed J and asked the wingmen, SNRV, to dock the cargo.

They docked the really big pods. They were all on top of each other and inside each other! I told them to formate and then I LDS to the scrapper. BUT my wingmen disappeared and I said to formate. They said I was to far away. I looked at my wingmen list (after pressing O). They had disappeared and do not cost anything.

Obviously my wigmen liked their cargo more than Me!

wow, I have never heard of the Mega transport's mega pods surviving like that. I guess it only makes sense that your wingmen disappeared then. You had struck a gold mine and they only wanted their fair cut. Not so sure about the coding behind all that though. Sounds like an exceptional situation that may have revealed a flaw in the code....or you just ran out of money to pay your wingmen. A common occurence.

You've NEVER heard of that happening before? I'm suprised. It hapens to me almost every time a Megafreighter is destroyed. Seriously. Actully, just yeasterday that happend to me. I told my SNRV to load up the Mega pod , when he did I told him to formate with me, but he did not move a single meter. I guess that is realistic because the Mega pod probaly weighed as much as the SNRV itself. LOL

Yeah, everytime I have seen a MegaTransporter get destroyed and spill all its cargo, every mega pod blew up as well and left only a scattering of normal sized pods. Weird.

That IS weird. I'v always heard of games that are the exact same game, but had a slightly different virsion. Mabey since the virsion is different, a few things happen diffrently. However, I thought The origanal US virsion of Edge of Chaos was (F12). And we both live in the US.

I mean, we both live in N. America, not we both live in the US. And I meant the N. America Virsion of the game. Not the US virsion, there was no US virsion. It was The N. America virsion, and the European virsion. Sorry.
