Ship upgrades

Hi ppl , I'm looking for some upgrades for my corvette , actually I got Omega heat sink , neutron pbcs ,twinpack launchers , deadshot msls , ai decoys , autorepair 3 , is there anything better around ?
I'd die for a deathblow , hehehe

Like you. I went looking for some other Upgrade. I went all over the map looking for something better. Was hopping to get some Assault PBC and little more defend stuff. However I had not find anyone that would sale anything that are better then what you already have there.
I would kill for an Assault PBC and some shield booster. Eventhose I am not shooting up anything just yet.

digging through ini files,
I found no reference for :
-cannons (either gatling,longbow,assault)
-heavy PBC & antimatter PBC (although it's rather strange for heavy PBC, as neutron are supposed to be better ...)
-no beam weapons
-almost no shields upgrade (just the particle shield seems to be there)
-no repair lvl 5

note: I may well be wrong, but I think I'm not
as this was found out of ini files I don't know where upgrades are

True. These are all missing. Those weapons are all really powerful and totally unbalanced the game. (Assault cannons can take down a cruiser in 5 seconds). So they are gone. If you want to win in Torn Stars, you really need to work the piloting skills. Or hire a bunch of wingmen!

I hope these weapons will be toned down & reintroduced in the future
as for now, we have very few weapons to put our hands on
and I liked the heavy PBC fire effect

(and some beam weapons were not THAT powerful I think, comm laser anyone ?
plus you must have some very good piloting skill to aim)

Toning them down and reintroducing them is a good idea. It is always fun to have lots of stuff to upgrade to.
