Middle States Stations

The need to make physical contact during docked transactions is a good idea. I have this IFF spoofing code lying around. And it could be that docking to a station would break your IFF spoof. Which would limit what you could do. You can snoop, you can sneak attack, but you can't get really lift really good trade goods.
