joystick profile

where might i find some joystick profiles for EoC? i hate the standard setup it's giving me...is there any way to change settings in-game? tis odd if not...

i imagine i can hunt down the config file and change things there...which config file would i be looking for?

Lack of a GUI interface for changing the config file was one weakness of the game.

eoc_install_directory/config/default.ini

is the joystick configuration. You can make a copy of this file and then change the internal name by changing the line name=options_default to something like name=my_config. Then you can choose your config when you start your game under menu options, controls.

I should warn you that some people have had crashes with changed configs. So make sure you keep a backup of the original, you might have to go back. And always do your edits with a plain text editor like notepad. Or a code editor if at all possible.
