Problem with EOC patch 2

hey, sorry for taking so long to reply,lifes kind of hectic right now and i'm having problems with my ISP
i can't get it to work at all past the intro...every time i try something i have to reinstall it without the patch to get into the main menu..i've deleted the registry part for it a couple of times while doing this and it dosn't change anything, it's very frustrating and the patch is the only way i can see to get the mods i want working, so as it is i can't even play the game the way i want to
