That's why I orriginally asked him if he had forgotten Multimod. I know from experience that no player ship is created when Multimod is not used. From looking at his flux.log, though, I can see that Multimod did its job. And the log does indeed confirm that the playership is not being created because iJafsScript complains that it cannot find the player ship. The only possibility I can see is that my script is having trouble loading "ini:/sims/ships/player/em64_uff_flitter" because that file is missing or out of place.

Hopeless, when you open your mods directory and then open the "em64_ultimate_freeform" directory, do you see any *.zip files within that folder? There should be eight zip files in there. If there aren't, we have a problem. If you have all the .zip files in place, look for one named "sims.zip" and open it. Inside, you should find a folder named "ships". Inside that you should find a folder named "player". Inside that there should be five files, and one of them should be named "em64_uff_flitter.ini". If that file is not there, or any of the folders I've told you about on the way to getting there are not in place, then the missing file or folder is your problem.

Huh. I'm running out of ideas. How about capitalization, are all of those folders and the zip file all lowercase? "sims.zip" must be lowercase, "ships" must be lowercase, "player" must be lowercase, and "em64_uff_flitter.ini" must be lowercase. Currently, the best idea I have is that maybe something was changed when you unzipped your files. Otherwise, I'm running out of ideas for what could possibly cause your ship to not load.

Normally, the controller configs shouldn't interfere with ship loading. If you unzipped anything, did you remember to unzip the folders intact, and into the correct folder locations themselves? I'm not sure how EricMan's mod works; but generally all mods, even unzipped ones, should be in their own separate folder within the mods folder. Is his?

If you're unsure of how his mod directory should look from within the mods folder, you could post a screenshot, or even just a text listing, of your mod directory structure. This would be a good candidate for why his script isn't finding the player ship. Even though everything would be there, and in the right place, the entire directory could be off. Although it probably wouldn't show up in the mod screen then. But, like I said, I'm not sure exactly how his mod works.

Your controller config is settup correctly, and Second Chance is right in that the config should not be able to have any effect on ship loading.

I've been assuming that your directory as a whole is correct because the mod shouldn't even be able to load if that were the problem. Then again, your game shouldn't be acting the way it is, so you might as well show us your directory as Second Chance has suggested.
