Does the game calculate them knowing the the masses of the planets and stars or does the person who designed the system put them wherever he wants? (maybe based on calculation)
While I'm asking those kinds of questions, why do the planets spin so fast and could they be slowed down?

In the .map file a LaGrange point is placed automatically by specifying a planet and a moon as parameters, as well as any destinations. The map file then places and orients the LaGrange point between the planet and it's moon. In Pog, LaGrange points can be created using iLagrangePoint.Create, have destinations added with iLagrangePoint.AddDestination and placed wherever you want using the Sim place commands. The Pog SDK Help file and GrandpaTrout's geography SDK are both excellent references.
I agree about the planets spinning too fast. But at the moment, I know of no way to change this.

It seems to simply put the L-Point directly in the middel :S Let alone taking into account of other star systems.

None of that sentence made sense, could you please say that again.
If by "directly in the middle" you mean between the planet and it's moon, then yes, that's where the natural LaGrange point occurs.
From the encyclopedia:
"Put simply, Lagrange points are sites where the gravitational field of two bodies cancels each other out."

Except it should be closer to the moon than the planet, as the point of neutrality occurs where the two fields are equal.

Exactly! But did PS implement that in the code? It doesn't seem like the kind of detail anyone would care about (from the standpoint of the original game developers).
