Act 2 mission mca convoy

I`m stuck at this mission
I killed all the enemies at the lagrange point.
Then they are telling me to form up with the group and I do.
Then we are being hit by a lsd missile and clay tells me that the ships are defensless mission failed.

P.S. The convoy goes in 2 groups why not in one???

PLEASE I NEED HELP

Difficult to say what might be going wrong here... but I seem to remember running into a problem (long ago) when I formated with the last freighter.

Try formating with the lead freighter only. Not the second or third one. If that doesn't work post back and we'll see if we can come up with something else.

Well I tried to form up with the lead cargo ship.
Then clay tells me that those ships are defencless
No matter what ship I form up with.
This is really frustrating
I also tried hitting a cargo ship with a ldsi missile to make it one group, but that doesn`t work either.

Edit: Hmmm... Now that I think of it I remember the difficulty I had with this mission; Get real close to the lead freighter before hitting auto-formate. Like right on top of it. I recall that I once dropped out of LDS too far behind the freighters (my ship had not 'caught-up' to the group yet).

If worst comes to worst you can download a savegame from the downloads page. But if at all possible you really want to finish this mission. You'll get a really cool reward for it when you're done.

I installed the patch but now i can`t acces my savegames or start a new game.[]
This is really weird well I`m gonna reìnstall the game maybe then it works.[^]
