Shane = clever guy

I was burning a CD but i could'n wait to try what you told me. Well, I have discovered a little, untagged and unlabeled switch in the lower bottom part of the Wingman Light joystick and I changed it's possition. Now everythink works OK (well, at least the cutting beam I tryed) as it does with the keyboard only. That switch would probably activate the "turbo fire" of the joystick and I didn't know anything about it.

Well, I think this is something we have to remember for the "future generations" :)

Thanks everybody and Sir

PD: the beam is as pretty as I remember it :p. I think i'll reload and try it on that umbilicals [}:)]

Auto-fire joysticks not withstanding, something else that would cause beams to flicker is heat. This I found out in a PATCOM with a sealed heatsink. If your heat gets into the red it'll stop your weapons from firing. As soon as it gets out of the red they'll fire again. And that will cause flickering beams as well.

If this sig were a horse, I'd have to shoot it.
