act 3 mission 5

ok, i have read the act scenario, but am still not sure how to figure the patterns of the lights out. also, when docked to the transciever, i cannot turn my ship to see the station lights. the external views i choose don;t select it either. furthermore, i failed this mission the first time, escaped from the area, and redocked at my base. i then relaunced again, flew back, got the iff, and am trying the mission again. there might be a bug though, since docking with the transcievers is not triggering the dialogue where smith asks me to choose a color.

smart me, i have been making backup copies of my save game and storing them in a seperate folder, but still, i would rather not have to load an old one.

advice?

If you leave in the middle of a mission the script will get messed up. It's an 'all or nothing' thing.

In the F3 external view, you can rotate the view with your mouse or the numlock keys 8,4,6, and 2,
