Playable??

Hey there, glad to see this resurrected, but I wanted to know if this would be playable again on a current Win 10 system. I haven't played it since I was running XP Pro, and thats about 7 or 8+ years ago.... I even tried to play it when I had Win 7, and it constantly froze or wouldn't play at all. Thanks for all your hard work in this great game.

It is very well playable! I'm playing it on a Windows 10 system myself.

Later windows versions may prevent the game from starting up because of new security features, but you can get around that with the Technical FAQ:

I just got a new computer about 4 times more powerful than the old one. It's Windows 10, too. I just started up I-War 2, and I've been playing Instant Action without a problem.

Cool, this is all good to know, but also, what about I-War 1... is this also playable on a Win 10 system?... I never really finished it, and would love to try it again, but haven't yet.

Yes it is, even better.

GOG bundles it with a 3Dfx wrapper so it uses all graphics capabilities without an actual 3Dfx graphics card - works fine.

I think the first game is so old now, it has even lesser problems than I-War 2. We have a technical FAQ for that, too:

It works in Windows 8/10?!

I did not know that, probably because I got the 3dfx wrapper after installing the game on a VM.
