Exept for making your ship stand out like a lighthouse on a dark night, does High Level Emissions do anything else. ???
Like maybe it also means that your onboard miniature sun is about go nova, anyone have an answer. ??

Oh, and if i unzip the resource.zip file where should place all those files.

High level emissions might get you dead pretty fast cause I believe it's a lot harder to avoid missiles.
I had the same problem with my bastille class destroyer, however, try this to lower your emissions:

unzip your sensor_disruptor.ini file (this is the signal mask thingy) from your resource.zip to your <install directory>\resource folder. After you do this you can find the file in your <install directory>\resource\subsims\systems\player folder. Change the line that says

brightness_mod = -0.05
to
brightness_mod = -0.3

This is what the elite mod sensor_disruptor.ini looks like, if you have your signal mask enabled it should lower your emissions to a normal level.
Finally, if you unzip the resource.zip you should extract the files to your <install directory>\resource folder.

I unzipped my resource file to a different location so I didn't overwrite any files in my install directory, plus if I don't like any change's made by the patch they are much easier to find.

Give it a good bang.....

See I told you that would fix it.

Finally, if you unzip the resource.zip you should extract the files to your <install directory>\resource folder.

I wouldn't suggest it. If you do that, you'll unzip all the orriginal files over the patched files. You'd completely undo the patch.
