Once I got an opportunity to try a helcopter sim which consisted of a PC, 3 TFT monitors for panorama display, 1 TFT for instrument panel and a seat with all three chopper controls: yoke, pedals and throttle. Although the controls were like dead fish (no force feedback) it was quite interesting. This gave me an idea to build similar system for I-War: a seat, 2 joysticks and a panorama monitor. Maybe even 3D glasses. With 5.1 sound of home cinema amp, 4 BIG floorstand speakers + center channel speaker + BIIIGGG subwoofer this could be quite an experiece. Don´t need force feedback to shake your hands (and more...):p

I read this. Great stuff! But I doubt I will ever get the money to build THIS kind of thing, even to buy a new comp (I use STILL my old overclocked Celeron-566 (@706MHz) (don´t know how I´m putting up with this old junk, anyway.(Bet my comp is the reason why I don´t like PowerPoint presentations, if ya know, what I mean)))
