Attacking League ships

I'm still at an early point in the game where I've joined with the Stepsons, but not the League. Are the League utlities/transports considered fair game at the L-Points, etc.? I'd hate to screw things up by attacking the wrong ships. Basically, is it "okay" to attack and pirate from anything that's not blue? Also, where's the best place to find station component. Thanks,

The first time through the game I actually delayed my joining the League since I was pulling so much cargo from them at the time.

No confusion; just wrong or right ... Only Solutions

I don't think it can actually make an effect. Even if it could, I doubt you could do enough pirating before you join the league to ever make the effect. Shoot away!
