3 hrs of profitable pirating and then i collide with a f***ing ship when entering a largrange point......ha fking ha ha ha!!!!

if this game weren't so good i would have broken the cd.

happens all the time......especially after a nice long period of profitable piracy....forget to pop home to save and kabooom....Have you tried the mod that lets you save at other peoples stations?....its on the official site somewhere, and is pretty neat....saves a lot of travel hassle.

could someone please post the site for this mod which allows you to save at other people's stations? i did not see anything like that on the download location of this site.

It's StationSave.zip, on GrandpaTrout's site . Oh, and look for the instant shield control -- once you can get it, it tends to solve this problem. Also, you can dock to your base nearly instantly from anywhere, as long as you're not in the middle of a firefight (just activate the dock autopilot a good distance from any L-points and wait).
