Pirates!

Are you refering to the recent 2004 release or the original Pirates / Pirates Gold PC game?

2004 release. I somehow missed the first one. Darn shame, since it is pretty close to my ideal of how a free form game should be designed. Now I see where Space Rangers got the idea.

Pirates Gold is pretty easy to find as abandonware. I think underdogs has a copy you can get.
