Whats this?

Hello!
I just discovered this site (this forum and the Torn Stars downloads).
So I have a few questions:
#1: These are downloads that allow further game play and finishing EoC?
#2: Are these new downloads played on the Internet with real people or are they just single player stuff?
#3: If this is not an Internet game download then is there someplace to go so I can play EoC on the net? And if there is do people play it a lot?
#4: If the answer is "NO" to questions #2 and #3, is there a co-op options so I can play EoC with friends all the way through?

#2. Depends, some are for single player and some are for multi-player(see #4)

#4. Sorry, no co-op play here. However there is a versus style multi-play built into the game that can be played over a lan or the internet, but hardly anyone ever plays it.

Bummer. I was hoping that there was this massive universe online that allowed people to create their character and join a faction to play against real people. I was thinking there would be a lot of AI ships but also a whole bunch of real people to play ally with, become enemies with or trade with. Oh well...

Oh, one more question popped into my head. Are the people making these additional features doing this independently or is it the whole squad that made the I-War series forming these additional features?

there is ...its called Eve online..

though not with as good flight physics

Slick there are some MMO's with a massive universe.
