The Megatrucking mod has the newest version of the spewer code, btw.

To install the spewer mod:

Navigate to your iwar2\mods\MS_Mod_Main\packages folder.

Find these files and make a backup to somewhere safe:

tepicfleet.pkg
teplayerorders.pkg
tetradebuy.pkg *
tetradesell.pkg *
tmegatrucking.pkg
tpodutil.pkg
tsavegui.pkg
tspewerops.pkg

If you are not installing the Megatrucking mod, you only need to backup the ones with a * by them.

Next, copy all PKG files from the mod’s zip file to the packages folder, overwriting any files.

In this mod, the ship that will be loading and unloading pods has to be docked to the station it will be using.

To install the orbit mod:

Navigate to your iwar2\mods\MS_Mod_Main\packages folder again.

Copy the PKG file from the mod’s zip file to this folder.

Go to your iwar2\mods\MS_Mod_Main folder and open the file “scripts.ini.

Near the end, you will see lines like:
Code:
[System] ; Run these scripts atomically when the player enters a new system ;enter[]=iStartSystem.StartupSystem enter[]=iTrafficCreation.DisableTrafficReport enter[]=iRangeCheck.DisableRangeReport ...etc...

Under the comment, and before iStartSystem, add the line:

enter[]=tOrbit.PlaceSystem

so it looks like:
Code:
[System] ; Run these scripts atomically when the player enters a new system enter[]=tOrbit.PlaceSystem ;enter[]=iStartSystem.StartupSystem enter[]=iTrafficCreation.DisableTrafficReport enter[]=iRangeCheck.DisableRangeReport ...etc...

That should do it. The orbits.ini file mentioned in the readme is only needed if you want to play with elliptical orbits. It is not required for the proper operation of the mod.

Also, the planets move rather slowly, so it may take a few sim days to notice. (And they don’t move in real-time, they jump when you load a game or make a capsule jump.)

Hope this helps.

You can get both of them on the Torn Stars website. Just click my signature, then go to the downloads page, and select Player Mods. Of course, you need Torn Stars to be installed to play them.
