Returning to an old favorite!

Ibought the first Independence War and absolutely loved it. I just picked up a copy of Edge of Chaos from Amazon for 15 bucks... I'm just wondering how this game runs on XP Pro SP 2. It is made before XP but XP and Win2000 are very similar. Does it run on this OS?

Looking foward to playing this old favorite again...

ps: I do have a spare machine with plenty of RAM and 2GHz cpu and a spare copy of Win 2000 laying around just in case.

I don't know about XP pro, but it runs fine on XP home SP2. The game has aged very well. The DirectX sound turned out to be a weakness, but that is pretty easy to fix as long as you know about it.

So can I. Works very well on XP Pro, and Win 2000 Pro as well.
