I have A duron 900, 521Mo, Voodoo5 5500, Win98Se Dx9.
When inserting the install CD, the system displays a damned explorer error message (claiming a violation in kernel, and a huge set of hex codes)
This only occurs with this CD (and i've got a huge number of them in my system).
If I bypass this message (by ignoring it) I can run the install until I have the same problem but with setup.exe. Then the install stops.
I don't know if its related to the game, a defect in the CD or the one case on a million of a non compatible config.
Anyone having any an advice (on the game or on win98se)?
Thanks for your help

I ran it fine on Win98se, so the OS shouldn't be the problem. Does the cd look scratched or anything?
Is this your first time installing/playing?
Have you tried installing it with the Install Program option in Add/Remove Programs?

Thanks Second Chance for the advice.
As it was the firts use of this CD, one option could be a defective one.
I've tested the CD on two other win98se PCs and the same problem occurs, but on my laptop win2k it works fine (gasp!).
I've copied the complete CD on my laptop and burned a cd-rw, just to see if it's not a defective CD structure (who knows?)
Then back into my PC 98se and it works fine (slow to load from an RW)
Now I can play.
Thanks for the quick reply.
