OK iam from germany an my englisch is not very well
ok i got I-war 2 from a gamemagazine
The Game works until i want to play
the game crashed until i start the singleplayer or the instand action (dont know how it calls in english i only have the german version) and the engine is loaded. The Screen freeze an i must close the game with the windowstaskmanager
first i thought that my graphic card is the problem but i read on other forums that possibly the sound is the problem in so i set in the "flux.ini" "disable_sound = 1" and now it works.
but playing the game without sound is realy silly
my system:
AMD Athlon 3000+ XP
1024 MB infineon DDR at 333
Asus A7N8X - X
Creative SB Audigy LS
ATI Radeon 9600 XT
MS Sidewinder Forcefeedback 2

Welcome to the forum, CyTrond
I have a simular system and the game runs fine on mine, so it's probably only a software or driver problem.
Some MP3 player software, media players, ect. can cause sound problems.
Check this page for possible fixes:
www.independencewar.com/download ... MP3Problem
This might help too:

Good Luck!
