Does Multiplayer still work?

I'm trying to set up a game over the net and the gamespy servers seem to be still available.

But my other players don't appear to be able to connect.

Am I missing something?

Have you asked on GOG.com already?

Since GameSpy has gone for good last year, setting up an online game may be difficult.

But I had an idea, the QTracker guys are running alternative master servers here:

Maybe online play can be revived with some simple entries into the hostfile or a hexpatch of the game. I will look into it later.
