Help

How do i change the weapons on my ship and make them appear in the game. i change the tug ini but nothing happens.

what am i doing wrong?

Are you trying to change the appearence of the weapons or just trying to add some more weapons to the tug? I ask because one might require you to do some model making and the other doesn't.

No all i want to do is put the neutron pbcs on my tug. like you would if you had them in the inventory. but i want to start the game with them on the tug.

Well if you want to have them on there from the start you could prefit them. However, you wont be able to remove and replace them in game except for with missiles.

If you want I can make a small mod that will do it for you.

that be cool. but i wouldnt mind knowing what lines to edit where so i can change things on the fly if i want to.

i used to know all this stuff but its been a few years.

Heres the weapon mountpoint setup for the tug (with the neutron pbc's added). You can find the tug.ini file in the resource\sims\ships\player directory. And remember to copy the tug.ini from the zipped resources file to the unzipped resources file before you make any changes (and only change the unzipped version of the file).
