Help with...

I need help installing a mod for one of the new cruisers i downloaded. It just says put it in the directory. I tried that but when i load up the game i still have my tug and command section. I tried switching them around i did this twice. I flew them out nothing happened. Please help

A couple of things:

The file you downloaded must be placed in the MODS folder in your main EoC directory. (Your game must be patched to version 14.6 to have a MODS folder.)

Then, when you start the game, go to the EXTRAS tab on the initial welcome screen. There you activate the mod.

Then load up a game. Most ship-replacement mods trade out the comsec for the new ship type. So, go to the hanger, select the comsec, and then launch. You should be in the new cruiser.
