need money

i currently play the game with the future trader mod where i can buy ships or gunstars, but they are really expensive, 7 digits number in fact. the piracy goes ok but too slow for good weapons or ships, so is there a way to make a lot of money without stealing 10,000 pods?

Why not give modding a try and make one yourself? It would require only a smattering of POG skills.
