I don't have any advice for the mission itself, just about the cruisers. Although normally I wouldnt even *try* and dance with three , the use of disruptors opens up an interesting challenge. [disregard this if someone's already tried!]
Mk- have you equipped yourself with one of those lasers yet? Here's what I have in mind:
-disrupt two of the cruisers
-place a disabled ship between you and the active one, using each disrupted cruiser in turn as a shield as you destroy them [ever seen the intro movie to the original iwar? similar idea ]; naturally I recommend the mining/cutting beam for this job
-once those two are out of the picture, you should have no trouble with that last ship. just remember that low forward thrust and constant use of lateral thrusters are your friend
Now this of course wont likely work if there are other smaller ships flitting about. Well, not as easily anyways

I tried the Comms Laser and don't care for it. What I did was send in the T-Fighters to lure them to me.
