how the bloody f***ing hell do i pass through the jump accelerator to destroy the lda fields? there is that blue force shield in the jump accelerator and i blow up every time i approach it. i am totally unable to complete this mission due to not knowing how to destroy the damn lda fields. advice please.

You have to target the nodes; three lda generators inside the jump accelerator.

Most people use a deathblow remote missile to take them out in one or two shots.

well, i am inside the jump generator and cycling through my targets, but nothing is coming up-- only enemy ships outside.

also, the things i am shooting at are all inside the middle of the generator, behind that blue force field.

They are not targetable.

The blue field is only halfway inside the jump accelerator. The generators which create the field are before that. They are represented by little white lights.

A deathblow rem missile, fired into the opening of the jump accelerator will explode as it strikes the lda field. The shockwave of the explosion will destroy the generators.

does it matter if i fire from the blue entry point or the red exit point?
