Heat sink question.

Recently purchased the game and a new joystick, as I've been a huge fan of the whole space based trading/ piracy genre for years (since Privateer II the Darkening if you must know, Im a youngster still and Elite was before my time).... just have a simple question. Which heat sinks are better? Which is the top of the scale and which the bottom in regards to alpha/beta/gamma etc.... I have gamma to start, so assume they are the worst performing, but can't find confirmation in the manual or encyclopeadia. Any help would be appreciated.
Quality game by the way.... I picked up my two turret fighters, and have finally started getting some respectable piracy going in preparation with business with the marauders.... whoever they are... don't spoil it for me though.

u should look in the encyclo and pick technologies and then propultion and then heat sinks(i use the delta heat-sink)

I tried that..... It just explained about heat sink technology... no mention of which is the best or not.... do they each have different properties?? If so, what?

What? Why that was yesterday! 1984! I remember it clearly! Commodore 64, a case of (original) Cokes, a couple of pizzas... spinning the ship so you could match the damn station's rotation when you docked...

No... wait. Maybe it was a while ago.:D

Ah well, you don't know what you missed. Elite was the only game I've ever played where the most coveted treasure happened to be the 'Autodock' system.
