Newbie here... with a question

Hello all... My first day here. first off, Iwars2 is a great game! Fantastic graphics and gameplay...

My question: in the campaigns, what other ships could we fly other than the Comsec, Adv Patcom and Tug... can we pilot ay capital ships?

Hi abraxis, and welcome to the forum. Apart from the ships you mentioned, that's it. However, there are plenty of 'mods' that allow you to fly other ships. These can be found on the download pages.

Though I would advise that you play the game first through to the end as some of the ship mods can effect the gameplay.

Comsec, Adv Patcom and Tug

Apart from that there's only the Storm Petrel and the Heavy Corvette ingame. As Soup said, there's plenty of mods available, and if you don't like a particular mod, you can always make your own. Ship mods are probably as easy as it gets. You could probably figure it all out yourself just from looking at others' ship mods and the resource.zip file. In the file look under 'sims/ships/'.
