Massive Update Thread was created by schmatzler
I've decided to open up a new thread where I will list all of the new files akula65 has sent over to me.
I will have to sort them all out before I put them on the website, and I will update this thread whenever new stuff gets added.
What we have so far:
- The first demo for Independence War
- The second demo (Neutronium demo)
- LightWave and 3DS models of the Dreadnaught
- an unofficial Geographic SDK - you can create your own worlds with it and populate them with planets, ships and more
- Website Building Kit - contains a lot of cool pictures
- High resolution renders
- I-War 2 Complete Soundtrack
- I-War 1 Windows Desktop Themes
- Edge of Chaos Screensavers - imho most of them look really neat, even today
- Patch F12 - not that useful, but it's history.

I am now finished with uploading and sorting in all the files - and I'm exhausted.
The only things that are still left are documents. I have another fanfiction, some interviews and a lot of I-War/Defiance related modding tutorials left.
I will sort these into the documents section later and will post links to them here. Have fun! And another big-up to akula65 for keeping this available for newcomers

Thanks! My Desktop looks much better now. I used to have a slideshow of stretched 600x800 screenshots. :pinch:

I have now added all of the documents.
A new I-War / Defiance Modding section has been opened up with some articles:
I've also opened up a new section "Other" under the Documents, where I put everything else that is somehow related to I-War:
Interviews
That's it - we now have everything! Time to clean this up and make a news article on the front page.
Oh and btw, I also found Stephen Robertsons website , it's still up

I've managed to sneak even more reviews from Computer magazines into the website.
Some of the German ones are hilarious - CBS couldn't decide how the game was called. They called it "Independent Wars" and on a later article "I-Wars". But the graphics are pretty cool:
I also like the big 6-pager from CGW. That's what a frakkin' article should look like:
I guess I'm pretty much a Tomb Raider now. Need more I-War things!

Just a little note that doesn't really fit anywhere:
We've now reached over 20.000 downloads since the relaunch of the website, tendency growing. This is amazing!
I am really glad that I have an unlimited traffic plan with my provider.
