Urgh, don't drink and fly

Urgh ow uh aek, beliewe me don't drink an fly those two things don't mix very well, I just had bite to eat and a bottle of fine french white wine to go with it.
After sitting for about 40 min relaxing afterwards, watching some show about croc's on the Animal Planet, I decided to go pirating in my new flashy Heavy Destroyer, modified of course.
Take of was of course not a problem and flying to the Blackeye L-point on autopilot was also not a problem, but when I decided to strip that big League Freighter of its Rare Metal pods, it seems I forgot about it's escorts and was promply handed my head by 3 Tugs.
A most humiliating defeat, but it made sure that I will never again fly after having had something to drink that contains alcohol.

Heheh, three tugs destroyed a heavy destroyer? How is that possible? Even if you just sat there and did nothing chances are the destroyer's AI turrets would take care of the tugs. Or did you remove them?
Well in anycase I read an article a long time ago about drinking and playing computer games. The guy was trying out driving games and airplane sims and it was kinda funny to read about how he was messing up and crashing into the ground and stuff after he got pretty wasted.

Ah you got me there, i changed the AI turrets into Dock on turrets, and i'm still in act1 so i havent got any of those yet, thing is i also changed the mobility to that of a heavy corvet so if i had been just a bit more sober i could have outflown them, but even then my defeat still stings.

Put it this way, there was a lot of cursing, screaming and general mayhem as it was going on.
Afterwards i just kind of sat there looking really embarresed and foolish .

I did a lot of head scratching trying to find out what i did wrong before the penny dropped.
