TRINADYNE - CORPORATE WARFARE (MISSION ONE)

Thank you for downloading my very first successful mission! It is poorly scripted, as I am a rookie, but it all seems to work fine and there aren't any serious bugs, so it should work properly without any problems.

Directly after the jump from Earth space into the next system, you will be hit by something, but it will not be a fatal hit. The dialogue will explain it all.

NOTE: This mission was made for I-War Defiance, but, I believe it will also work with the original I-War.

INSTALLATION

To install this mission:

Take the "Trinadyne.scr" and "alliancebrief.scr" files and place them in the "missions" directory of your I-War Defiance installation directory:

X:\Program Files\Particle Systems\Independence War - Defiance\psg\resource\scripts\missions

Then, make a folder entitled "Trinadyne" and place it in the "text" directory of your I-War Defiance installation directory:

X:\Program Files\Particle Systems\Independence War - Defiance\psg\resource\text

In the "Trinadyne" folder, put all of the text files except for "allianceobjv.txt". Take this file and put it in the "\psg\resource\text\objectives" folder.

NOTE: "X" in the directory refers to the hard drive and should be whatever drive you installed I-War Defiance to.

Now, create a shortcut of I-War Defiance on your desktop (or where ever) and then right click on the shortcut and select the properties option on the menu. Change all properties that are neccessary as listed below:

Target Type: Application

Target Location: Independence War - Defiance

Target: "X:\Program Files\Particle Systems\Independence War - Defiance\IWDE.exe" -b -16 -debugscript -noslab -nologos -powers X:\PROGRA~1\PARTIC~1\INDEPE~2\PSG\RESOURCE\SCRIPTS\MISSIONS\TRINADYNE.SCR

Start In: C:\PROGRA~1\PARTIC~1\INDEPE~2

Shortcut Key: None

Run: Normal Window
