MP/GameSpy/Ingame Hosting

OK Had a question, first I have been in and out of the GameSpy Arcade all day, I have done a search to see who else is online with the came and serveral are, I invited a few to the "IWar2" room but never showed (they where all in a CHAT room not a game room). I didn't see one person (But me) in the room and no servers.

Now for the question, if you host a game from IN THE GAME and not through gamespy will it still show up on the gamespy server list?

Yes it will show in gamespy if you host from in-game.

If your PC-System has enough power and the OS can handle it, you can Alt-Tab out of the game to your desktop and then check Gamespy if you want. I would recommend, that you exit gamespy during actual play. Otherwise, the IWar2 chat room is a good place to meet and setup/discuss games.
