whats the status of this modification?

Can it run as a seperate thing to my other mods such as elite mod

Does it have a big huge single player with a story line and such?

They've released mostly ship mods so far, which I assume work as comsec replacements; there's also some incomplete mission script stuff that you run as a scenario. I doubt you could use any of the ship mods in conjunction with the Elite mod without merging files yourself, but some more self-contained mods such as FutureTrader might still work.

If you want to keep tabs on their progress, go 'ere . I don't know what their current status is, apart from that it's somewhere more promising than 'abandoned' and still a good way from 'done'.

Can anyone provide a review of Buda5's 2002 Christmas present (Rebellion at Christmas) scenario pack? I haven't had the time to get it going and play through, but I am curious to know what others thought about its good points and weaknesses.

So, has NOBODY played these scenarios? or is it just that nobody's willing to post a review of them? *sigh* I guess this means I'll have to get off my arse and try 'em out for myself...

I have not played it. But you could go to the forum and look at the posts from Dec 26th on. That would give you an idea how it went.
