The Mission: Find help to combat marauders in other systems

I carried out the requirements for this missions: I kept the marauders off, while the ambassador escaped, but the mission is still incomplete.

Is this right?

I have had other missions since that, but things have gone quiet now.

Is this mission ongoing?

I don't require what to do, only whether the current situation is correct or not.

This mission has a number of completion points. It's not a simple "go do that and the mission is finished" type mission.

Covering the Ambassador's escape is only one small part of this mission.

I don't want to spoil any surprises for you (ruins the fun...). So, what parts of this mission have you completed?
