mission time limits

Hi, newbie question
Are there mission time limits to the main and sub missions or do you have to attempt them as soon as you receive them, as I want to go plundering for specific items for trade.

There is some sort of a limit, but there is no rush... Expecially for the main missions. They will wait indefinitely i believe. I'm not sure about the submissions but there is enough time even if the mail say urgent:)

Thanks for the reply, I have spent that much time searching for a freighter with jewellery (50+) that I thought I might fail a mission.

you can rob some freighters in the samarakand l-point the security is no so tight but there is plenty of loot
