Newbie getting shot up

I suck at this game! I can’t get through act 0 mission 3. I just keep getting shot up. About 25% of the time I can get one ship. Is there a method to getting through this?

Is there a way to train to be a better pilot? Flying through the rings and shooting at stationary targets doesn’t really do it.

Try flying in the chase mode. And keep moving or your going to be blown away. The thrust overrides are a great way to get around...at least for me they are.

Instant action is a great way to train to be a better pilot. If you can get far enough in that, you can take just about anything in the game.
