locate marauder base

hi, i already finished this mission before with your help but i want to ask you to help me with a small thing in the wolfs lair mission.
when i go to the secret l-point and hide in the junk area, four marauder ships arrive and after them a transporter wich i need to follow without alarming the four fighter ships. well.. how do i avoid alarming them when i fly toward the transporter??

Formate with the transport (freighter). I always hit formate while still in the junk field. I've never been detected.
