REM Fighter

I need help. I have completed the mission where I was supposed to get the REM fighter, but I never got the remote fighter. I aquired enough station components to trade for a remote fighter, but it does not work. It will not respond to my wingman commands and when I undock it it just floats in space.
Can you help me?

Yep. It's not a wingman. As the name of the fighter indicates it is remotely controlled.
Install a REM link and the fighter is yours to fly.
