Hi All,

We're having a little problem with an impish hacker. There isn't a great deal I can do about it. All I can say is they appear to be from Canada and use an ISP called canadawired's IP address. I say appeared, cos there's no real way of knowing. Anyway's they're looking into it for me.

Meanwhile I've automated a one hour backup system. So we may lose some threads but we won't lose them all.

Yup...hackers = stupid. Everything these days seems to be getting hacked. Why cant these ppl stop hacking their fellow countrymen and start causing probablems for those crazy Talaban

Are you refering to the incident yesterday where the forum was vandalised for an hour or two? I went onto the IRC server that was advertised and said lo to the guy that had claimed to do it, seems it was some hole in the Snitz forum system you use Soup. By the way, the server was .tr (Turkey).

No it happened again this morning. This time I got deleted as well as the lock outs. The database stored an IP number which wasn't mine. I did a traceroute out of curiosity.

You'd think hackers would find a better forum to hack.<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>
