My heat output is erm, rather a lot. I just got the patcom, and i was taking it out for a spin, after loading it up, and i got loads of "critical heat" messages. Clearly the answer is heatsinks, but which is the best? i currently have a gamma-sink, and a closed sink - which is better, and out of all of them, which is best?
Oh, yeah, and how/where do i fit such things as reactor auto-repair, and there was something else, but i can't remember what it was.

Heatsinks:
Types: Alpha, Sealed, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Omega.
Extensions: Active cooler, Advanced heatsink, Cooling Pod, Super Cooler
Alpha's the lowest Omega the highest. Then there's the extensions which you can add for further enhancement.

Thanks. The only way i have found to fit reactor autorepair, and the heatsink extensions is to autoconfigure the ship, then change back any weapons. Is there another way?

You change the sytems of the ship in the same way you change the weapons.
