Is there a bug with LDSi missiles? , I'm using turbo pods mod and jafs got a cargo box stuck so I thought I'd blow it away , I got it down to 20% and it drifted slowly away I thought why bother and LDS'd out and suddenly heard the beep beep of the missile launch thing and was LDSi'd , when there were no enemy about , are they just spawned or something? , on that thought

is there anyway other than blowing away every enemy nearby before LDS to escape the LDSi missile , its highly annoying to add a few minutes getting anywhere getting LDSi'd , (I prefer to manually LDS everywhere since I find it much faster than even manual L point jumps)

Also is there ayway to remove the capsule drive from the ships? , without them the auto pilot LDS's everywhere rather than use L points which are slow and dangerous (the auto pilot has killed me so many times when going through an L point though I've been killed many times on manual too so much that I install agressor sheilds (though I hate those even more since in the middle of a gun fight you can accidentally turn it on which effectilvely obscures your view 100%

Never heared of that "bug" with LDSI missiles. I guess there was an "enemy" present when you tried to LDS out.
Maybe it was one from an earlier fight of the same trip and it appeard the moment you turned and tried to LDS?
Sometimes survivors come back after autorepairing their systems...

"is there anyway other than blowing away every enemy nearby before LDS to escape the LDSi missile..."
Strange sentence! If a LDSI missile is fired at you it will hit you and disable your LDS-options within a certain radius. Assuming there is no enemy left caused by your "activities" - the effect of the LDSI missile persists and you have to leave the location "manually"

In your hangar you have an option to change your loadout and some ship components. Simply leave the "slot" for capsule drive empty - but you won't be able to leave your system. LDS is not suitable for travaling out of your system.
I never tried to disable my capsule drive, but maybe it is possible during a trip via the engineering screen?
