Need help with Spam Issue

Now it's getting good!

I just recieved an email subjected "Server Report", from someone at the old particle-systems dot com address. The myDoom virus was attached to it as a "message.pif"

It, of course, didn't come from particle systems but originated at an IP address in portugal:
Telepac - Comunicacoes Interactivas, SA



Has anyone heard of myDoom sending mails with "Server Report" as a subject?

Good to hear, I was wondering about that subject "server report".

I sent a mail to the abuse dept. at the IP address where it originated. Wonder what will happen?

Just a few minutes ago, I read that the virus programmer apparently made an error as he coded the virus. It was supposed to deactivate itself automtically in mid feb. Due to a syntax error it won't.

Guess we're stuck with this spam for a while, until everyone gets one of the free programs to delete it

i can try to find out what the damn virus does.just wait a minute.....sorry i couldnt find anything.one i got two virus.one was sprbot(pain in the ass virus)and worm something(easy little bugger)well i heard the more the virus warnings pop up the more the virus sperds.sorry man.
