More questions

While looking through my flux.ini file I found this-

[icOptions]
directx8_available = 0
use_directx8 = 0

Does this mean I'm not using DirectX? Should I change them to 1?
I know I have directX 8 Installed. Maybe this is causing my Dagda problems?? (See Previous Post)

Also Is there any way to increase the size of my contact list? I find 6 contacts is just not enough and hate having to constantly scroll through them all to find that transport who's escort I just took out.

I think it means you're running dx7. If I'm correct, dx8 support wasn't ever finished for the game, so if you change those to 1's, either nothing will happen or bad things might happen.

It's best if you just leave it alone.

After installing GTA 3 (which installed directX 8.1) Eoc started crashing. I looked in the flux.ini and found the same thing as you, which DEFINATELY wasn't there before. I changed both values to 1 and loaded up the game. I got some VERY nasty error messages. My advice is to leave it well alone
