Create a new shortcut to the following target:
"<yourinstallfolder>\bin\release\loader.exe" -ac iwar2.icGame -dl 3
This will allow you to bypass the grafx card check.
Where did you find these command line options, and do you know of any others? i've not come across them before.

Hi, I created a shortcut as described above but when I execute it nothing seems to happen, even if I execute the loader.exe file itself nothing seems to happen.
I would appreciate any help.

I've tried it now, and it dosn't work for me either.
Anyone know of a way to see a running processes commandline arguments?
Finding a way to run loader.exe directly would be useful for a number of reasons.

got it, loader.exe needs to be run in the eoc root directory (the one with flux.ini in it), running it in bin/release dosn't work.

it's a little late to respond, but it can be usefull...
so to run I-war under Vista, you just have to directly launch the program 'IW2EoCGS.exe' in the game folder
If you have problem with the screen, you can edit the file 'flux.ini' and manually edit the width, heigth and full screen parameters :
