Description Station Save gives the player the illusion of being able to save then game when docked to any station. The purpose of the mod is to allow a more free form of play.
This might seem like it has an obvious anwer but when i'm at the shipyard after destroying the beam feeding the destroyer how do i get the umbilicals? hell, what ARE the umbilicals?
You should see on the side of the ship petrusions with blue lights on them. Target the blue lights and destroy them. Cutting beams will do the job as will Deathblow missiles.
When you see the cruiser fly underneath it. I find that gives you a really good shot at the umbilicles. If you shoot them from the sides theyre harder to hit.
